I love to try on my skin organic and natural cosmetics, so when I came across in the internet on GAIA CREAMS cosmetics, I knew I needed to test them!
I love their motto:
Photo from GAIA CREAMS web page
GAIA CREAMS. AGAINST TOXIC WORLD. AGAINST CRUELTY.
POWERFUL- RAW – 101% ORGANIC – FAIR TRADE – VEGAN – HAND CRAFTED – MAGIC CREAMS.
So this is exactly what I’m looking for! (Remember: they’re MADE TO ORDER ONLY)
They don’t use:
WATER, ALCOHOL, SULPHATES, ETHOXYLATES, PARABENS,
PROPYLENE GLYCOL, SLS,PETROCHEMICAL CLEANSERS,
SILICONES, PHTHALATES, MINERAL OILS, DEA, GMO,
SYNTHETIC FILLERS, SODIUM BENZOATE, ARTIFICIAL COLOURS & FRAGRANCES,
ANIMAL INGREDIENTS OR ANY HIDDEN NASTIES
And of course they’re cruelty free which means none of their products were tested on animals.
You’ll find more information about their products and generally their philosophy on their web page: www.gaiacreams.com.
I was looking for something for my quiet sensitive skin – with broken capillaries, blemishing T-zone and some spots from time to time. Another my problem is that – because of the heating, air conditioning, cool air outside I find my skin also very dehydrated so I need really a good product to prevent further dehydration but without blocking pores in the same time. That’s why I ordered night & day Frankincense Cream and also ’Raw Love’ Eye Cream.
Creams have very nice consistence and texture, smell lovely and look really raw!
I did my order online and few days after a delivery came in beautiful, eco packing with dry flowers inside giving great, relaxing smell and with my name on a cream jar! Love it! Just look on the photos!
Of course, because it’s an organic, eco brand you may send them back later 5 empty packages and get 30ml of chosen cream for free!
Because creams are raw, you may need to put them into the fridge after receiving to get them back to their normal texture. In my case I didn’t have to do it, both of them were perfectly fine.
I find these creams to be quiet efficient so I hope they’ll last a good period of time. They smell lovely and absorb into the skin quiet quickly, although before putting makeup I remove with a hand tissue an extra layer. I found that eye cream helps to relax my eyes and nourishes the sensitive skin in this area. My face skin is still dehydrated but I notice that this condition has been improved a little bit already. But I’m also aware that this depends not only on my cream but on many others factors too. I don’t have any wrinkles yet (Yipee! 😉 ) so I’m not able to tell about their anti-wrinkles properties.
Additionally I’ve noticed Frankincense Cream doesn’t clog my pores which is great, because some products I’ve tried used to do that. I’m really happy with these products so far. It’s a pity they don’t have something peculiar for broken capillaries skin as this is what need too, but I’m going to try some of their other products. Of course I’ll share with you my thoughts after it J but please let me know if you’ve already used Gaia Creams products and would like to share here your opinion or maybe you would like to recommend other, organic, natural brand. Can’t wait to hear it from you!
